RIP

Rip is a 24″ 85 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever. If there was a word to describe Rip it would be beautiful. He is all-around a beautiful animal. Color-wise, I would classify Rip as being a dark sedge, however, depending on who you ask and in which light they are previewing him (indoors or outdoors) some might say light brown. He is well coated and his coat is dense, very coarse, and short. He is well-boned, has nice conformation with lovely shoulders and a gorgeous head. Movement is ground covering, clean coming and going, sound and strong.

He is reserved with strangers but is a clown in the house and around those he knows. He has a wonderful temperament with other dogs and plays well with both males and females.

In the field, he is a focused, stylish and determined retriever who LOVES the water.

Rip was shown 4 weekends for his AKC Championship. Along the way, he picked up two Best of Breed wins over Specials.
